If the narrative is about a time traveler, a mystery, or a romance, the story involves an expression of time. Some authors are given more energy than others with regards to what point in time the narrative occurs. Writers of puzzle are often given the ability to see the previous and authors of time travel are given the ability to see the future. Bouncing from time period to time period requires much attention from both the writer and reader. If a reader misses the past for the present, he\/she will be confused on when and what is happening. The overall perception of the narrative alterations to the reader and may potentially render your them outnumbered by when is exactly what and what’s when.
To be able to retain the overall feel and attention from the readers, it is important to make a well thought out layout. The layout will assist you maintain control over what occurs next. Another instrument to your disposal includes descriptions and bluntness. Show them what’s changed; show them how it seems, and the way it smells. Or you may just tell them exactly what’s occurring; bluntly tell your readers what’s past and what’s present and what future is.
Evidently, rebounding between every point in time is infinite. The only limit is the creative thinking and story writing ability.
